PROVIDING WINDOW PERIOD TO MC NO. 2014-15 ENTITLED œDEFINING THE METRO MANILA ENDPOINTS OF PROVINCIAL PUBLIC UTILITY BUSES ORIGINATING FROM SOUTHERN LUZON, BICOL AND VISAYAS TO œMETRO MANILA  AS THE ENDPOINTS OF THEIR CURRENT AUTHORIZED ROUTES AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

WHEREAS, on 26 August 2014, the Board issued MC No. 2014-015 which provides among others that all provincial PUBs covered by the said circular with œMetro Manila  as endpoint shall be defined as ending or terminating at South Station, Alabang, Metro Manila starting on 27 August 2014;

WHEREAS, in order to allow the affected provincial buses to drop and pick up passengers in their own terminals or common bus terminals located in Metro Manila, there is a need to amend MC No. 2014-015;

NOW, THEREFORE, the Board, by virtue of the powers vested in it by law, do hereby order:

  1. The 236 provincial buses that are subject to and covered by MC No. 2014- 015 as enumerated under Annex A shall be allowed to enter and/or leave their own terminals or common bus terminals located in Metro Manila between 12:00 midnight - 4:00 a.m. from Monday to Sunday.

  2. Upon the establishment of South integrated transport system located at FTI, Taguig City, pursuant to Executive Order No. 67 (s. 2012), the authorized routes of the affected provincial buses shall end at the said South integrated transport terminal.

This Memorandum Circular shall take effect immediately following its publication in a newspaper of general circulation and the filing of three (3) copies hereof with the UP Law Center pursuant to Presidential Memorandum Circular No. 11, dated 09 October 1992.
