AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 59, DATED MAY 9, 1936, ESTABLISHING THE MT. APO NATIONAL PARK BY EXCLUDING FROM ITS OPERATION CERTAIN PORTION OF THE NATIONAL PARK FOR AGRICULTURAL PURPOSES



Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 59, dated May 9, 1936, which established the Mt. Apo National Park, by excluding from its operation certain portion of the land embraced therein with an area of about 3,946 hectares situated in the municipality of Makilala, province of Cotabato, and declare the same open to disposition under the provisions of the Public Land Act, which portion of land is more particularly described on Bureau of Forestry, Land Classification Map No. L. C. 2047 of Land Classification Project No. 41-A, Alienable and Disposable, Makilala, Cotabato: Provided, that all timber and other minor forest products, contained therein shall be cut, collected, and removed in accordance with the national park law and regulations and the revenues derived therefrom, as well as all revenues derived from the sale of the land involved shall be reverted to the National Treasury to the credit of the Parks and Wildlife Office and shall be known as œNational Park Fund .
