DECLARING FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 1957, A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BATANGAS AND LIPA CITY
In commemoration of the ninetieth birthday of the hero and patriot, Miguel Malvar, the last Filipino general to surrender to the Americans during the Filipino-American war, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, pursuant to the authority vested in me by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Friday, September 27, 1957, a special public holiday in the province of Batangas and Lipa City.
IN WITNESS-WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
