EXTENDING THE ANTI-RAT CAMPAIGN UP TO OCTOBER 31, 1957
WHEREAS, the month of September of every year is Anti-Rat Campaign Month under Proclamation No. 179, dated August 11, 1955;
WHEREAS, there is urgent necessity this year of extending the campaign up to the end of October;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby extend the anti-rat campaign this year up to October 31, 1957.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
Done in the City of Manila, this 4th day of September, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-seven, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the twelfth.
