DECLARING WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 18, 1957, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE AND THE CITY OF ILOILO
WHEREAS, the people of the province and the city of Iloilo desire that they be afforded full opportunity to celebrate the birthday anniversary of Graciano Lopez Jaena, one of our outstanding - patriots;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Wednesday, December 18, 1957, as a special public holiday in the province and the city of Iloilo.
IN WITNESS HEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
Done in the City of Manila, this 16th day of December, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-seven, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the twelfth.
