DECLARING SATURDAY, APRIL 5, 1958, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY



WHEREAS, the third day (Holy Thursday) and the fourth day (Good Friday) of April, nineteen hundred and fifty-eight, being public holidays, the fifth day (Saturday) of April nineteen hundred and fifty-eight, may be declared a special public holiday, without any prejudice to the public interest;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, and there being sufficient reasons therefor, do hereby declare Saturday, April five, nineteen hundred and fifty-eight, as a special public holiday.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 28th day of March, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-eight, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the twelfth.
