DECLARING THURSDAY, JUNE 12, 1958, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF CAVITE AND IN THE CITIES OF TRECE MARTIRES, CAVITE, AND TAGAYTAY
WHEREAS, June 12, 1958, marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the short-lived Philippine Republic of the Revolutionary Government under General Emilio Aguinaldo; and
WHEREAS, the people of the province of Cavite and the cities of Trece Martires, Cavite, and Tagaytay desire that they be given ample opportunity to celebrate the day with appropriate ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Thursday, June 12, 1958, as a special public holiday in the province of Cavite and in the cities of Trece Martires, Cavite, and Tagaytay.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
Done in the City of Manila, this 11th day of June, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-eight, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the twelfth.
