Pursuant to the authority vested in me by section 90 of the National Defense Act, as amended, I, Diosdado Macapagal, President of the Philippines, do hereby prescribed the following rates of base pay for the officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, effective as of October 1, 1962:

Executive Order No. 4, dated July 11, 1946, as amended, is hereby modified accordingly.
