AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 42, CURRENT SERIES, DECLARING CERTAIN MUNICIPAL DISTRICTS IN THE PHILIPPINES AS MUNICIPALITIES SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN ALILEM, ANGAKI, SAN EMILIO, AND SUYO, ALL OF ILOCOS SUR, AND MATUNGAO, LANAO DEL NORTE
By operation of the provisions of section two of Republic Act Numbered fifteen hundred and fifteen, the municipal districts of Alilem, Angaki, San Emilio and Suyo, all in the province of Ilocos Sur, and Matungao, province of Lanao del Norte, each having realized an average annual revenue of more than four thousand pesos for the last four consecutive fiscal years ended June 30, 1962, as certified by the General Auditing Office, are hereby declared and considered fifth class (equivalent to seventh class pursuant to Republic Act No. 2368) municipalities beginning July 1, 1962.
The present elective municipal district officials shall continue as such officials of the newly declared municipalities until their successors who were duly elected during the last general elections on November 12, 1963, shall have qualified.
This amends accordingly Executive Order No. 42, dated June 25, 1963.
