DECLARING MONDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 1964, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF CEBU
WHEREAS, the 27th anniversary of the founding of the City of Cebu falls on February 24, 1964; and
WHEREAS, the people of the City of Cebu should be afforded an opportunity to celebrate the event with appropriate ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Diosdado Macapagal, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Monday, February 24, 1964, as a special public holiday in the City of Cebu.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
Done in the City of Manila, this 17th day of February, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty-four.
