[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 11441, August 28, 2019 ]
AN ACT INCREASING THE BED CAPACITY OF CORAZON LOCSIN MONTELIBANO MEMORIAL REGIONAL HOSPITAL IN THE CITY OF BACOLOD, PROVINCE OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL FROM FOUR HUNDRED (400) BEDS TO ONE THOUSAND (1,000) BEDS, AUTHORIZING THE INCREASE OF ITS PERSONNEL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. The authorized bed capacity of the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) in the City of Bacolod, Province of Negros Occidental is hereby increased from four hundred (400) beds to one thousand (1,000) beds.
SEC. 2. The CLMMRH, through its Board of Trustees, is hereby authorized to increase and hire additional employees corresponding to the upgrading of its services and facilities and increase in bed capacity. The Chief of Hospital ofd the CLMMRH shall coordinate with the Secretary of Health, the Secretary of Budget and Management, and the Chairperson of the Civil Service Commission for the effective implementation of this Act.
SEC. 3. The increase in bed capacity of the CLMMRH shall be implemented for a period of not more than five (5) years from the approval of this Act.
SEC. 4. The Secretary of Health, shall immediately include in the Department's programs the implementation of this Act, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SEC. 5. All laws, decrees, ordinances, rules and regulations, executive or administrative orders, and other presidential issuances inconsistent with this Act are hereby repealed, amended, or modified accordingly.
SEC. 6. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
