STRICT IMPLEMENTATION OF JOINT SBMA-CDC POLICY GUIDELINES ON THE ADMISSION PRIVILEGE FOR DUTY-FREE AND TAX-EXEMPT MOTOR VEHICLES

Effective immediately, CDC Management shall strictly implement compliance of the Joint SBMA-CDC Policy Guidelines on the Admission Privilege for Duty-Free and Tax-Exempt Motor Vehicles and in relation to CDC Memorandum Circular CSD 13-21[1] to ensure compliance of CFZ registered enterprises within the Clark Freeport Zone.
Previous non compliances of CFZ registered enterprises which were subject of CDC Notices to Explain and the submitted Explanation Letters of non-complying CFZ enterprises are hereby noted.
Moving forward, all CFZ registered enterprises with duty free and tax-exempt vehicle(s) are hereby enjoined to file their monthly Permit to Bring-out TEVs with the Trade Facilitation Department for the month of July onwards in order to avoid sanctions provided under the said circular.
For those TEVs that are exclusively used in the Freeport and/or those TEVs for repair, please submit the appropriate Acknowledgment and Undertaking with the Trade Facilitation Department.
