AN ACT CONVERTING THE LTO EXTENSION OFFICE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF POLOMOLOK, SOUTH COTABATO INTO A “CLASS B” DISTRICT OFFICE TO BE KNOWN AS THE LTO DISTRICT OFFICE OF POLOMOLOK, APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The Land Transportation Office (LTO) Extension Office in the Municipality of Polomolok, Province of South Cotabato is hereby converted into a “Class B” district office to be known as the LTO District Office of Polomolok.

SEC. 2. The Secretary of Transportation shall immediately include in the Department's programs the operationalization of a Regular LTO District Office in the Municipality of Polomolok, the initial funding of which shall be charged against the current year's appropriation of the existing LTO Polomolok Extension Office. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for the continued operation of the LTO District Office of Polomolok shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 3. The Secretary of Transportation shall issue such rules and regulations necessary for the effective implementation of this Act.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days following the completion of its publication in the Official Gazette or in two (2) newspapers of general circulation.
