AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 96 (S. 2001), BY EXCLUDING A CERTAIN PORTION OF THE LAND EMBRACED THEREIN, IDENTIFIED AS LOT 4-A, CSD-00-003715, LOCATED IN THE DISTRICT OF TONDO, CITY OF MANILA, RESERVING THE SAME FOR TOWNSHIP DEVELOPMENT PURPOSES, AND GRANTING OWNERSHIP THEREOF IN FAVOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SETTLEMENTS AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT



Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 96 (s. 2001) by excluding a certain portion of the land embraced therein. Identified as Lot 4-A, Csd-00-003715, located in the District of Tondo, City of Manila, reserving the same for township development purposes, and granting ownership thereof in favor of the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), subject to final ground survey, which parcel of land is more particularly described as follows:

The Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources is hereby authorized to issue corresponding Special Patent covering the area herein reserved for township development purposes in favor of DHSUD.

A Project Inter-Agency Committee (PIAC) composed of representatives from DHSUD, Chair, DENR and the City Government of Manila is hereby created. The PIAC shall formulate and issue the Implementing Rules and Regulations of this Proclamation, and identify the beneficiaries of the housing component of the township development.
