WHEREAS, the City of Digos, Province of Davao del Sur will mark the celebration of the Araw ng Digos on 08 September 2024, which falls on a Sunday;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Digos to fully participate in the occasion, the Office of the Mayor requested that 09 September 2024, Monday, be declared as special (non-working) day in lieu of 08 September 2024;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Digos be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R, MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Monday, 09 September 2024, a special (non-working) day in the City of Digos, Province of Davao del Sur.
