Lawyerly is a web-based legal research platform where you can access all Supreme Court cases, relevant laws and implementing rules and regulations. It has a versatile and advanced searching capability that lets you search for cases, laws, doctrines using case citations, General Register numbers, keywords, or hashtags with accurate results.
How it works
Create a casebook. Add sections and sub-sections (or call these topics and sub-topics). Organize casebooks by adding categories and hashtags.
Search cases and laws. Add cases from the search result by clicking "Add to casebook" and selecting the desired topic.
Read the cases listed on your casebook. Track cases you have read from the casebook. Those cases with annotations will be indicated or tagged.
Organize with Casebooks
Lawyerly users can create a casebook wherein they can organize cases or laws by topics and sub-topics. Adding cases is easy with the "Add to Casebook" button. Casebooks are interactive where you can track cases they have read. And they can also quickly view the principles cited in these cases at the click of a button.
Generate Case Digests
Creating your own digest is easy, even without typing a single word. Simply open a case and start highlighting text as FACTS, ISSUES, RULING, PRINCIPLES. Your digest will be automatically created when you click on the Digest button.
How it works
Open a case. Annotate or highlight text. Make sure you have highlights for FACTS, ISSUES, RULING, and PRINCIPLES.
Generate the case digest from your annotations by clicking on the "Digest" button.
Manage your case digests from the Digests tab. Organize them by adding categories and hashtags.
